The Congressional Physical Activity Caucus serves as a bipartisan organization committed to efforts to promote, educate, inform and encourage others to engage in physical activity.
Being physically active is one of the most important lifestyle behaviors we can engage in to maintain physical and mental health. Regular physical activity plays a critical role in preventing and treating life-threatening diseases and provides innumerable benefits that contribute to a healthy, happy and positive life.
Our mission is to educate decision-makers about the importance of physical activity to physical health, mental health, growth and development, disease prevention, reducing health care costs, the economy, disease prevention, national security, and military readiness and retention.
