Karin Pfeiffer

Dr. Karin Pfeiffer is Professor and Director of the Institute for the Study of Youth Sports at Michigan State University and a member of the Center for Physical Activity and Health. She is the current President of the American College of Sports Medicine. An exercise physiologist, her research focuses on measuring and increasing physical activity among children and adolescents, with an emphasis on school-, family-, and community-based interventions from preschool through high school.
